This week's featured model is   Kasy

Click on the photo to go to her portfolio page.

Kasy hails from the Gold Coast - an hours drive south of Brisbane on Australia's east coast.

She has been working with us for the last two months and is currently available to work with other photographers both in the studio and on location.

wpe2.jpg (8885 bytes) The shoot with the Polar Bears has been postponed for a couple of weeks. The bears have been segregated from each other for the last few weeks but will be re-introduced again soon. After meeting with their handler this week it was decided that this will be the time they will be at their most playful, and the best opportunity to get the best possible shots.

I was previledged to be able to visit the bears in their den at the back of the exhibit - a place the public don't get to see. As large as they look "on exhibit" nothing prepared me for the experiance of seeing them up so clode and hand feeding them muslie bars  through some very serious two inch stanless steel mesh.

Happening this week at Clubmodpics .........

As reported last week - one of the highlights of the past week was a corporate Golf Day held on Friday.  There were a total of 146 players on the day from around South-East Queensland, all facing 18 holes of golf. The weather was kind with only a brief down pour late in the afternoon having us all running for shelter.

Every team paused a while at the 16th hole to enjoy some food and refreshment and to pose with the promo girls for their team photograph. All members of the team will receive a copy of the photograph in the mail this week.

Congradulationd to Karl and Jacci who celebrated their wedding in Brisbane yesterday (Saturday)

The weather cleared just long enough for the couple to enjoy their day and have their photographs taken beside the Brisbane River before being received by their guests.

Photographers - Please take note :

A photographic safari is being organized to Spain for early October next year.

The tour will be going to the central east coast of Spain where there is an abundance of ancient castles and fortifications, rugged coastlines and quaint Spanish villages. We will be spending a little over two weeks in the country visiting these sites but allowing enough time for photographers to persue their own projects.

It is expected the tour will cost around AUD $3000.00 including airfares, accommodation and ground transport on group outings (departures from Australia) Meals would be extra. The trip will have a maximum of ten travellers and all arrangements will be made via a regestered travel agent.
