This week's featured model is Paula.

Click on the photo to go to the portfolio page.

Paula has been featured in a couple of television commercials in the past and has now turned her attention to photographic modelling work. This is our first studio shoot with Paula but more shoots are planned - next time in the great outdoors.

This Week at the Clubmodpics Studio ....

It has been busy in the Clubmodpics studio this week.

We had a visit from a travelling photographer who hired the studio for three days to photograph four different models. His visit provided some good paying work for the models as well as giving them some great images to put into their portfolio books. Once the photographer has edited his images, we will put a "Guest Photographer" page on the Clubmodpics site so he can showcase some of his work.

A special thanks to Sarah and Cathy, and Clubmodpics models Claire and Katerina for their modelling skills.

More Portfolios to Come ...

Pending portfolios that will be posted to my site over the coming weeks can be seen at the bottom of this page

You may have noticed that there is no shortage of models to photograph - and many of the models featured in this newsletter are available for both personal and commercial projects via their respective agents.

You are welcome to email us for more details if you wish.

We conducted another Studio Workshop last Sunday, catering to three keen photographers who wanted to improve their skills with studio lighting and model posing. Held over a period of three hours, instruction was given on various lighting set ups using high and low key lighting techniques. Once comfortable in the studio environment each photographer was able to direct our model. Claire, to take advantage of the different setups. These workshops are held from time to time - more information can be seen by clicking here. You can regester your interest by emailing us.
Work Opportunities at Clubmodpics   ....
We are constantly getting inquiries from Photographers wishing to use our Studio Facility that also need to hire a model for their photographic projects. We try to match a model to a photographer as closely as possible but we need more Models to allow us to have a greater cross-section of talent on offer. We do not ask models to work for nothing or for sets of prints instead of payment - all our jobs are paid jobs. From time to time we also need talented photographers to help out with model portfolio photography. If you are interested in gaining some more work in the photography or modelling industry, please indicate your interest or make a time to come in and discuss the possibilities.

New Studio Space Available

We now have access to a large new industrial space suitable for photographing larger items such as cars or motorcycles etc.  Located on Brisbane's Southside, this new space is available strictly by appointment and prices can be given on a job quotation basis.

The girls have been busy this past week.   As well as posing for Guest Photographers, Lighting Workshops and Portfolio Updates, four of the girls attended a Television Commercial Casting on the Gold Coast last Saturday. The TVC will run on local television and will provide one of the girls regular work each month as the TVC is regularly updated.  The casting was a bit daunting as the girls really did not know what they were walking into. Each girl had to deliver a couple of lines of dialogue three different ways.  The Producer/Director selected the talent he thought looked the part after cruising through the Clubmodpics model pages. It just goes to show that influential people are out there and using the internet to find the people they need. At the time of writing a decision has not been made on who was successful in getting the job - I will have an update for you next week. Thank-you to the girls that made the time to attend the casting. wpe1.jpg (3715 bytes)
Don't forget, any of the models that are featured in this newsletter or on the Clubmodpics web site are available to work with  local photographers. Travel is also available if expenses are paid.
